Luxury Baroque was an artistic direction project by Emotion History, conceived as a contemporary immersion into the Baroque imagination through performance, music and scenography. More than a simple private hotel pre‑opening, the evening was designed as a living story: an emotional journey guided by characters, symbols and situations inspired by theatre and court celebrations of the period.
As artistic director, the concept unfolded in layers: an international classical orchestra shaping the musical dramaturgy of the night, choreographed dancers and acrobats tracing lines of movement through the space, and human statues and actresses guiding guests as they moved through the story. Each staged appearance was crafted to awaken a different emotion, from the initial sense of wonder to the feeling of taking part in a contemporary Baroque ritual.
The grand buffet was conceived as a reinterpreted Baroque feast, where gastronomy also played a role in the artistic script. The layout of the tables, the colours, volumes and decorative details were all in dialogue with the music and performances, turning the act of dining into yet another scene within the Luxury Baroque narrative.
Every element —costume, movement, music, light and gastronomy— was designed to transform the private pre‑opening into an immersive, auteur‑driven experience. Guests did not simply attend a corporate event; they entered a story created and directed by Emotion History, becoming protagonists of a Baroque universe brought into the present.
