We are proud to present an exquisite itinerary to relive the daily and private life in Barcelona during the 1700’s, the city of the baroque and rococo period. In our theatrical tour in “El Barri Gòtic” the Venetian adventurer Giacomo Casanova and the dancer Nina Bergonzi will evoke their erotic adventures during their visit to our city in 1769, rediscovering masquerades in aristocratic palaces, the most libertine social circles, historic restaurants and stores, the circus and opera shows in “Las Ramblas”, the Masonic mysteries of Count Cagliostro, the trials of the Spanish Inquisition, the intellectual societies in “El Born” and the debauchery in Napoleon’s time. In addition, we will reveal the impressive architecture of some of the most emblematic buildings of the 18th century, such as churches, squares, residences, and military and medical institutions.
The tour can be extended by visiting the Dalmases Palace, a baroque mansion where our guests will enjoy a glass of wine and a spectacular burlesque show.
