Our tour “The occult Gràcia” starts at Plaça Lesseps and runs through the heart of the district to Plaça de la Vila, evoking the memory of lost residences and events related to revolutions and wars, as well as other unusual episodes and characters. Iconic places such as the facade of Casa Vicens or Plaça de la Virreina will be visited, as well as the exterior of houses with very unique stories related to the occult: Masia Trilla and the Devil’s House.

The tour can be extended on request by visiting the fabulous “Estudi Oleguer Junyent”, the workshop of the brilliant painter, set designer and collector who created the sumptuous decoration of “El Círculo del Liceo” and other masterpieces of the time such as “Casa Burés”. As a cabinet of curiosities, this workshop preserves a unique legacy: decorative arts, Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces of ironwork and ceramics, Catalan Gothic and 20th century avant-garde painting, and an impressive collection of theatrical and Carnival costumes. Some of the extraordinary automatons in the collection will come to life for the occasion! We will discover all its secrets guided by Sabine Armengol, who preserves this workshop as heiress of this saga of artists. At the end of the visit, our guests will enjoy a sublime cabaret show and a glass of cava.
