Enjoy a spectacular and complete itinerary in which we will show you the history of modernist art in Barcelona through politics, society, culture, fine arts and the private life of the citizens of Barcelona between the 19th and 20th centuries. The tour includes the exteriors of the universal icons of modernist architecture in the area of Eixample and Passeig de Gràcia: Casa Lleó Morera, Casa Amatller, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. In this exciting route we will discover the iconography and hidden symbology of these extraordinary buildings.

Theatralized and dramatized tour with actor as Antoni Gaudí -the brilliant and famous Catalan architect- and actress as Roser Segimon, patron of the arts and owner of La Pedrera).

The tour starts at the Teatro Comedia with an introduction to the history of Paseo de Gracia and its most unique buildings, such as Casa Rocamora, the passage of the old Teatro Español, the “Manzana de la Discordia”, the exteriors of Casa Lleó Morera, Casa Amatller and Casa Batlló. We will continue to the former studio of the painter Ramon Casas, the Casa Milà and finally the Palau Robert. The tour only includes the exteriors of the buildings.

If you wish to enjoy a guided tour of the interiors of the buildings we kindly ask you to cover the corresponding fee.

The tour can be extended by visiting other buildings in the “Quadrat d’Or”, the most opulent area of the Eixample district. We can include the “Casa de les Punxes”, the “Paseo de San Joan” and the Macaya Palace. In addition, upon request, we can complete the itinerary with a visit to the Sagrada Familia and the modernist Hospital de Sant Pau.
